The Pennsylvania Division of Conservation and Pure Sources (DCNR) is worked up to open a brand new spherical of recruitment for the NextGen Advisory Council.
The Council strives to have members with a broad vary of cultures, experiences, and views from throughout the Commonwealth to tell the company’s work and advance Variety, Fairness, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB). Council members will support in creating lasting change and needed circumstances to make sure all Pennsylvanians can hook up with public lands, pure sources, recreation, and conservation. The Council is accepting new functions via July 31, 2024 with precedence given to candidates starting from highschool college students to age 35.

Participation Expectations:
- This Council membership is a three-year time period dedication, with the choice to serve extra, consecutive time period
- Attend repeatedly scheduled Council conferences held quarterly within the night on the third Tuesdays of January, April, July, and October. Conferences are digital and embody academic displays by DCNR workers, in addition to discussions of matters and tasks prioritized by DCNR and/or the Council.
- Take part in elective committees, networking, and particular challenge conferences. These are additionally held within the evenings on the third Tuesday of the month and scheduled in between quarterly conferences to additional Council initiatives and encourage relationship constructing amongst DCNR workers and Council members.
